Dear Team, Clients, and Partners,
As we close the chapter on 2024 and usher in 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the pivotal year we’ve had at Tangible Development and share my hopes for the year ahead.
2024 was a year of growth, transformation, and renewed purpose for our boutique Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion firm. Together, we reached significant milestones that not only strengthened our organization but also deepened our impact. This year, we welcomed a dynamic new leader to our team with the hiring of our first-ever Vice President of Service Delivery, a role that has been pivotal in enhancing how we deliver value to our clients and scale our impact. We also added a talented new Project Manager, ensuring that our initiatives run smoothly and efficiently. Recognizing the incredible talent within our own ranks, we elevated a team member to the newly created role of Operations and Finance Manager, empowering us to streamline processes and align our operations with the organization’s long-term goals. To guide our growth, we introduced a new President role, adding strategic operational depth to our leadership team and positioning us for continued success.
Our team authored and shared five insightful blog posts this year, sparking important conversations and providing valuable resources to our community. We launched a DEI Climate Assessment Tool©®™ (DEI CAT) marketing campaign, a bold initiative designed to amplify our mission and reach a wider audience. This campaign has been a testament to our creativity and unwavering commitment to change. Additionally, we created a new DEI CAT©®™ white paper with the latest information about our tool, ensuring we can effectively communicate how its cutting-edge and actionable insights create impact. We also wrote two compelling client case studies, showcasing the transformative impact of our work and the tangible progress our partners have achieved. Collaboration remained at the heart of our work, and we were fortunate to partner with organizations like the Siena College Research Institute (SCRI) and The Alliance for Nonprofit Growth & Opportunity (TANGO), whose trust and shared vision have been instrumental in driving meaningful change. To our partners, we extend our deepest gratitude for walking this path with us.
As we enter 2025, I am filled with a renewed determination. The work of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion remains as urgent and vital as ever. However, we face challenges in advancing DEI efforts that require resilience, creativity, and unity. The road ahead may test our resolve, but together, we have the strength and the vision to persevere. Let us remember that change is often met with resistance, and it is in these moments that our commitment to equity and inclusion must shine even brighter.
