Inclusive Leadership and Building a Culture of Accountability
The work of diversity, equity and inclusion takes ongoing personal and organizational development. As individuals deepen their understanding of bias, systems of oppression and social inequities, they move from awareness to action. Equipping individuals and organizations with the skills that support further DEI growth and creates an environment that fosters dialogue and manages conflict, is crucial. Leadership plays a substantial role in creating the policies and practices that can make this work sustainable.
In this workshop, participants will:
- examine aspects of inclusive leadership practices around DEI
- explore organizational change strategies to support DEI work
- deepen our understanding of frameworks and practices that contribute to a culture of accountability
- practice skills related to call-in and call out
