Improve Workplace Culture & Achieve Your DEI Goals

In collaboration with your leadership and Human Resource professionals, our consultants lead your team from strategy to action by implementing techniques to impact diversity, equity, and inclusion in your organization. Our strategies improve workplace culture, support your business strategy, and help you achieve your DEI goals.

Policies & Procedures

Biases in formal and informal policies and procedures can lead to an inequitable workplace culture. Many companies are navigating contemporary issues like pay equity, accommodations for people with disabilities, workforce representation, parental leave, and flexible work schedules. As your consultants, we analyze your current policies and practices and recommend best practices to reduce the impact of unintentional bias and improve the climate of your organization.

Hiring & Retention Strategies

Designing inclusive hiring processes and crafting retention strategies are critical to building a diverse organization, but gaps in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management practices can undermine your DEI goals. Market demands and shifting demographics require organizations to close these gaps. Our consultants assess your current hiring and retention strategies to develop creative and dynamic practices leading to robust candidate pools, effective onboarding, and performance management methods that decrease attrition and workforce sustainability.

Employee Programs

To engage your teams and provide ample professional development opportunities, our experts design and launch business resource groups (BRGs), employee resource groups (ERGs), and other employee programs focused on topics such as mentorship, recognition, and financial literacy.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Capacity Building

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committees are necessary for effective and long-term DEI organizational change. Tangible Development will provide your DEI committee with a DEI Inventory to gather information on the context of DEI work within the organization in preparation for the sessions.
Your DEI committee will work under the guidance of Tangible Development team members who will facilitate capacity building sessions that focus on understanding organization change strategy from theory to practice. DEI efforts will include creating a purpose statement for the long term sustainability of the DEI Committee.

Equity Process Advisors

Equity recognizes that structural barriers impact individuals and organizations differently. It is important to name the reality that racism and classism, as well as other forms of oppression, operate within seemingly neutral processes. Some processes were created to perpetuate favored outcomes for the most dominant and privileged groups. Adopting an equity framework and appointing an Equity Process Advisor (EPA) recognizes that advantages and barriers exist, and that, as a result, individuals and organizations are positioned at an imbalance. Tangible Development provides in-depth training for staff in your organization to serve as the Equity Process Advisor, working to identify and interrupt flag mechanisms that perpetuate or reproduce inequities.
